Different Types of Psychics and Abilities
Psychic readings using numerology have a long history, and are based around the age-old belief that every number is related to a corresponding cosmic vibration. When taken together, the numbers derived from an individual's birth date and the sum of the letters in his name provide a confluence of vibrations that reveal much about his character, motivations, and destiny. Those devoted to the practice of numerology utilize these numbers to provide readings for individuals who are seeking guidance about major events in their lives - such as when to relocate, move to a another job, or even marry.
This view of psychic readings is little more than a stereotypical caricature of the process and people involved, however, as the field of such readings encompasses far more than gazing into cloudy glass balls. For those who believe in such things, a psychic reading offers a wealth of information about a knowledge seeker's past, present, and future. Gifted psychics use a variety of means to read an individual, including tarot cards, palmistry, astrology, numerology, and aura reading - to name but a few of the more common. A practicing psychic may have more than one area of expertise, and may even go beyond the well-known varieties of readings and use such lesser known methods as distant readings, psychometry, or past life readings.
Like Pythagoras, St. Augustine later came to the conclusion that everything in the universe contained mathematical connections that could be ascertained through a careful application of both the mind and spirit. Even after the First Council of Nicaea proclaimed numerology a departure from the Christian faith in 325 A.D., and subsequently included it in their list of unapproved beliefs (alongside astrology, divination, and other supposed occult practices), there remained proponents who assigned spiritual significance to certain numbers.
It is difficult to provide precise assignations for each number, as different schools of thought hold a wide range of beliefs as to what each number means. However, most systems have at least a few things in common. For instance, the root numbers used in numerology are all essentially equal to one another in importance. In addition, every number has a wide range of both positive and negative traits. For example, in one system the number 1 indicates the positive traits of an inventive, independent, courageous, strong leader. It also indicates the negative traits of aggressiveness, impulsiveness, egoism, and willfulness. A similar dichotomy is seen when evaluating the meanings of the other numbers. This can provide those who perform numerological psychic readings broad parameters for reading a person's character and future.
If you want to offer your child the best possible way to benefit from their unique abilities you need to allow them room to grow. By offering them a private place to let them grow they can nurture their abilities and prosper greatly. This type of support is the best way to allow them to come in tuned with their psychic abilities.
Distant readings are most commonly performed over the internet. Most psychic readers will only attempt to answer specific questions - as opposed to general information about the future. The latter is too broad a category for successful divination, as the entire range of future possibility has only tangential relationship to any given individual. A specific question regarding an individual's career, health, or relationships is more finely attuned to that individual and is thus more readily and accurately answered by the psychic. For the best psychic reading, always seek out a reader of good reputation. There are far too many psychics who have been found to take advantage of the vulnerability of people seeking their help. In particular, be wary of anyone claiming the ability to attune themselves to the spirit world, as most psychics agree that true psychic readings are based on a psychics ability to sense essential truths only on a material level.
