Understanding Pet Psychics
It is no wonder that psychics have a bad name. There has always been a certain percentage of practicing psychics who use the illusion of psychic abilities to fleece the unwary and line their own pockets. Through a sometimes complex system of cold readings and the Forer effect, these charlatans are able to imitate the abilities of real psychics and thus prey upon desperate and needy people who seek their assistance. These con artists are often hard to detect, but there are a few signs that can help you to determine when the psychic you are talking to is more concerned with the contents of your wallet than in any messages from the great beyond.
Pet psychics claim that they can do this through the extra-sensory perception technique known as telepathy " the ability to send and receive thoughts along the waves of psychic energy that flow among all living things. Most pet psychics begin by entering a state of deep meditation, completely relaxing their minds, bodies, and spirits to facilitate their receptiveness. They then attempt to make mental contact with the animal by sending telepathic messages, often in the form of images because it is believed that the thought processes of animals depend upon pictures, not words. Any question or message from the owner of the animal is presented in these image formats.
Messages received from the pet are also in picture form, mixed with a range of emotional responses. The pet psychic knows that it is not his job to interpret either the images or the emotions attached to them but rather to report to the owner of the animal what he or she sees. One example is the owner who consults a pet psychic after his dog becomes lethargic and forlorn. As the pet psychic performs the reading, he receives strong feelings of sadness from the animal and images of a leash. Upon reporting the information to the owner, it is learned that the owner had been sick for several weeks and had not been able to take the dog for his usual walks. This left the dog feeling as though he had done something wrong.
Obviously pet psychics can play an important role for pert owners who are trying to understand their animals actions and emotions. Pet owners take the guesswork out of this process by communicating directly with the pet and letting the animal tell them the real meaning behind their behavior, which can be used by the p[et owner to correct any problems in their relationship with the pet. Some pet psychics are able to locate lost pets by establishing a remote telepathic link with the animal and sending them images of their home; still others claim the ability to speak to animals that have died.
Many pet psychics work over long distances, either over the phone or by using a photograph of the animal to form a psychic connection. However, the best pet psychics claim that this is not the best means by which to provide a reading for a troubled pet, and that a face-to-face encounter with the animal is the preferred method. Rare is the pet psychic who claims this ability as a special gift available only to a select few. Most believe that we all communicate with our animals instinctively each day, and thus anyone can do what they do if they learn to cultivate those psychic connections.
