1. Make Customized Valentine Cards
Valentine's Day is fun, especially when you're a kid and are able to swap valentines during school hours. The valentines that stand out are the homemade ones, but it can take a lot of time. When you make customized valentine cards on the computer, you're able to print them out quickly. It's quick and lets you put your own touch onto the valentines.

2. Make Fourth of July Banners
The Fourth of July is full of fun, cookouts, fireworks, and decorations in red, white and blue. By using your computer, you can make your own decorations and banners instead of spending money at a party supply store. To make it even more fun, just print out the outline of the decoration and let your kids or the neighborhood kids color in the shapes, American flags, or other decorative images.

3. Make Birthday Party Invitations
When it's your child's birthday, you surely want his or her party to stand out. By creating your own individualized invitations, you'll be able to add your child's unique touch to your invitations without spending a lot of money at a printing store. All you need to do is create the invitation in a word processing program and then print it out! You can add photos or other images and decorative borders to make it extra special.

4. Make Your Mom a Photo Collage
Moms love their kids, and they love pictures of their kids, too. If your mom's birthday or Mother's Day is coming up, consider making them a photo collage by printing out digital photographs onto glossy or matte photo paper and then gluing it on to poster board or fitting it into a large frame. She's sure to treasure the time and thought that you put into the gift.

5. Make Father's Day Pins
By letting everyone know that you think your dad's the best, you're sure to make his birthday or Father's Day special. All you have to do is design a few fun buttons on the computer and then print them out and use a safety pin to attach the button to your shirt.

These projects are sure to make your holidays special and are sure to challenge your creativity!
