Five Ways to Use Your Inkjet Printer and Ink Cartridges

Printers and ink aren't used for just printing documents anymore. With the advancing technology, there are many uses for your inkjet printer that you may have never thought of before. Here are five unique ways that you can use your printer and ink cartridges:

1. Make T-Shirts
You can purchase iron-on printer paper through many different companies. Then, all you need to do is find a design or picture (whether through the Internet or from your own digital photography collection) that you want to use to decorate your t-shirt, canvas tote, or other application. Print the design out onto the iron-on paper and then apply it to the cloth.

2. Make Labels
While this is certainly something that you were aware of, you may not know how many different types of labels you can make using your printer and ink. You can customize your CD or DVD labels, make address labels, shipping labels, labels for your files, and more. There is a wide variety of label paper available for these uses.

3. Make Promotional Materials
In today's economy, a lot of people are turning to running their own business. Obviously, along with running a business come a lot of other responsibilities and fees, one of which is promotional material. You can use your inkjet printer and ink to create business cards, press releases, portfolios, letterheads, newsletters, brochures, and more.

4. Work on Your Scrapbook
Scrapbooking is becoming a very popular activity that families across the world are undertaking. We all want to mark the important occasions and events in our lives and the lives of our family members. By making a scrapbook, you're able to express yourself in a creative way while keepsaking important items and pictures. There are many websites that offer different scrapbook templates and decorations you can use to embellish upon your own scrapbook.

5. Make Greeting Cards
There will always be the occasional occurrence when you forget to purchase a greeting card to go along with a gift. If you find yourself in that bind, don't worry! All you have to do is find an image from the Internet or your own digital photography collection and print it out on heavy stock paper. Just make sure that you print it on half the paper size so that you can fold it over for a genuine greeting card look.

There are many uses for your printer and inkjet cartridges. Your imagination is the limit!
