It makes a large, blank wall look even larger. If you have two similar pictures, hang them on the same wall equidistance apart, centered from the edges of the wall. It is more difficult to hang pictures that are too large for walls. Most of the time it is a case of the bigger being the better, so as long as a picture fits and looks great to you, youll be fine including it in your list of living room decorations.
