There was a time when only a few people had access to computer equipment that has been specifically designed to be used by people in certain fields of work. The scanning of documents is commonplace in the modernized world of business and is no longer limited to the application of graphic artists that used the technology to reproduce photographs for advertising layouts and magazines. From the office to the home the application of the digital scanner is changing how images are viewed, stored and transferred by everyday people going about their everyday work and hobbies.
