Seamed stockings are known as fully fashioned stockings. The stocking is made from 2 pieces of flat material that are sewn together which then produces a seam down the back of the leg part. These materials can be of silk or nylon type.
They are abundantly found in sheer stretch or ultra sheer type that are well suited to be worn on grand occasions to bring out that retro glamorous style out of you. Seamed stockings were highly regarded as fashionable items until the 1960s. They have now made a come back yet again.
