If you are looking for a natural treatment that does not deal with food, then the Buteyko Breathing Technique may be something to look into. The Buteyko Breathing Technique was developed by Mr. Konstantin Pavlovich Buteyko, a researcher born in Russia. Those who have tried this breathing technique were able to see a decrease in the symptoms of asthma that they suffered with.

By also keeping an eye on how much arachidonic acid you take in through your diet you could greatly reduce your symptoms of asthma. Avoid eating an overload of meat, shellfish, and egg yolks in order to treat asthma naturally. You will be able to notice a decreased amount of inflammation by avoiding such foods.

Luckily for you and others there are many different natural treatments for asthma out there so you should have no problem finding something that works for you. Of course, you want to give any natural treatment you try at least a couple of weeks in order to make sure that it is really given the chance to kick in. If you are currently taking prescription medication you will need to talk with your health care professional before stopping your medication in order to avoid serious complications.
