As the population grows older, the percentage of those that are older is growing, meaning they are a big market today. There is never going to be one phone that works out for every single user. While companies are definitely going to continue to focus on having new technology and features to put in their sim free mobile phones, they also have to remember the older lady who may want a simple hot pink mobile phone that she can use to make calls.
These simpler phones already exist of course, it is simply a matter of phone companies continuing to make them available along side the newer models. The cell phone carriers also have to provide service in a way that is fair to all types of users.
