There are some of the most wonderful honeymoon destinations available in Queensland, Australia. With so many places to choose from I have narrowed it sown to the top five destinations that you should choose from for your dream honeymoon.

Noosa: Noosa has relaxed glamour and laid back luxury and is the superstar of the Sunshine Coast. Here you can find five star accommodation.gorgeous beaches, world class dining and exclusive shopping. There are plenty of spa resorts to pamper yourselves and the cool lifestyle and scenic surrounds will bring out the romance in anyone.

Fraser Island: Not only is Fraser Island beautiful, it is one of the largest sand islands in the world. The sand dune system is over 700,000 years old and are a rainbow of colours. Exploring the island can be done on foot or by a 4WD. There are also freshwater lakes and towering rainforest's for you explore and take in there views. There is also Hervey Bay, the whale watching capital of Australia, as well as the access point to the Great Barrier Reef. This is a great place to honeymoon for all budget types, as accommodation can go from luxurious resort to basic and remote.

The Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Hinterlands: This would be perfect for newlyweds who want to wind down and switch off from the world and indulge in each others company. Sipping wine by a log fire in boutique accommodation, taking day trips to picturesque wine country are just two romantic highlights. There are many spa resorts available in this panoramic setting. Honeymooners will love the peaceful seclusion and lush scenery.

The Gold Coast: If your honeymoon destination checklist includes beaches and fun, then the Gold Coast is the spot for you. The Gold Coast has luxurious accommodation, fine dining, great bars, exciting nightlight, and of course the breath taking beaches. You can also visit some of the nearby theme parks and other activities if you wanted to get off the sand for awhile. There is so much to do at the Gold Coast you can be there for weeks!

Stradbroke Island: This island is slowly becoming a honeymoon haven as more and more couples discover it each year. It is a natural wonderland with lavish beaches and dense natural forest with a laid back feel, making for the ideal location when you want to relax and enjoy a romantic honeymoon. Fro June to November you can enjoy watching the humpback whales and dolphins can be seen all year round. There are also two lakes to enjoy on the island, the first being Brown lake, which is great for swimming and the second is Blue lake. Many couples enjoy walking around Blue lake as it is home to many native animals.
