The History And Organic Production Of The Goji Berry
The Goji Berry has a long history of medicinal benefits. It has been used since ancient times by Chinese and Tibetan medicine practitioners. The local people revere the Goji Berry so much that an annual festival is held at harvest time in honor of these fruits. They have been grown for centuries in the wild undeveloped areas of Tibet and Inner Mongolia.

The Goji Berry is a bush that grows up to 10 feet tall and has fruit bearing vines growing up to 20 feet. In China it is grown in large commercial plantations, in the fertile valleys of the Yellow river. The Free Life Goji Berry variety is grown in Northern China in Ningxia Hui. This has grown into a large export industry in China. They supply most of the Goji berries available on the market today.
