What Is The Purpose Of A Vision Board?
A vision board is a collage of pictures that represent images of the things you would like to accomplish in life. Other terms for a vision board include, treasure map, visual explorer, and creativity collage.
Any one can use a vision board to help them accomplish and achieve more in their life. The first step is to generate the desire of being happier, healthier, and wealthier. From there, the creation of the vision board will be a piece of cake.
You vision board should be placed in an area where you will see it daily, and have the opportunity to image the accomplishment of your dreams.
The following are instructions methods on how to create your own personalized vision board. We wrote something about each one of them. Select the one which suits you most, subject to where you are on this journey of self-assertion and advancement.
First write down what you would like to accomplish in this lifetime. Don't be timid or humble. List your greatest dreams.
Next find pictures and images that represent your dreams having been accomplished. Try to find pictures that represent you living your dreams right now, in the present.
Some ideas of goals include, a loving relationship, increased wealth, a healthy fit body, travel, a new car and more! Have fun with it!
Cut out the pictures or print any images found online. Sort them out on a table and see if there are any overlapping images or pictures. You'll only want to use pictures that clearly define your dreams and goals.
Now grab a poster board or cork board for either gluing or pinning up the pictures. If you weren't able to find pictures to describe your dream, you can even use words as well.
Start to laying your favorites on the board by going through the images. Do away with pictures which do not impress you anymore. This is where your intuition comes in. You'll get a sense how the board should be laid out. One example would be to give each corner of the board a theme. Pictures for your board can pertain to the people you love and doing what you love. If you want to add to the presentation, you can try folding the board in resemblance of a book.
I've seen people come up with wildly creative ways to present a vision board.
Now it's time to start pasting or pinning the pictures onto the board.
Lastly, find a smiling, complimentary picture of yourself and put that right in the middle of your vision board. This represents the happiness you'll be experiencing during the accomplishment and enjoyment of living your dreams. A nice picture of you should be the main focus of the board with your visions circling you like planets orbit the sun.
And finally, don't forget to place the vision board somewhere that you'll see it daily.
