Is Hair Cloning a Solution to Your Hair Loss?

Hair cloning can be considered as one of the most exciting and recent developments that have taken place in the recent times. A number of scientists and researches believed that this is one of the best solutions for your hair loss. This procedure is also known as follicle cloning or even as multiplication. The procedure involves using the sample of any person's hair follicle cells and then trying to multiply them in the lab and after that they are injected into the scalp of the person. This helps in generating the natural growth of your hair and helps them in regrowing and the whole thing requires no professional surgery.

But this treatment is not very much common in most of the countries. But the question is that can we most realistically expect this type of procedure or treatment to become free available in the near foreseeable future? - The answer to this question is that this process is not yet become possible as it certainly has not been performed on anyone yet. But there are possibilities of it in near future as a number of scientists around the world are working on it and a research is being performed on it.

So, all of the current statistics suggest that this procedure could be made available for most of the public at least in the near future by say around ten years. After ten years one can efficiently have a hair cloning treatment so that he can regrow their natural hair that may be the same as their original hair. One may find the name a bit misleading as the procedure is not related to hair but to the cells and this is based on cell therapy instead of true cloning. It is just a process of cell multiplication and not hair multiplication.

So once the procedure is perfected then it may involve taking a small sample from the human scalp tissue and then placing it in the culture that would in fact allow the multiplication and generation of follicle cells. The theory of the procedure involves a few sample cells that are made to multiple into several thousands of follicle cells and when these cells are injected back into the scalp of the person, then they are capable to grow back several thousands of new and original hair.

There are a number of obstacles that in fact needs to be overcome before the application of the procedure. The fact is that as the procedure is not yet tested, so there are no guarantee that replicated cells may in fact grow into new hair. The other point of concern is that there is no guarantee that these new hair may also grow to the same length as the old hair. They may in fact be of different color and thickness as compared to the surrounding hair. One also has to be pretty sure that this cloning does not induce any serious problems or side effects in humans such as growth of cancer or tumor. One thing is for sure that this does provide exciting opportunities for most of the people who have lost their natural hair from their scalp.
