Swing Set Accessories - It's Time To Play
There are ordinary backyard playgrounds and then there are extraordinary ones! The difference lies in the accessories. There are many different kinds of additions you can make to your current kids playground equipment. Or, if you are looking into making a new playset purchase, you can customize the equipment with the exact accessories you think your children will enjoy the most.
One accessory that is popular among slightly older children is called a buoy ball. Similar to a tire swing, this accessory can be attached to any sturdy horizontal portion of kids playground equipment. A great place to do this is on monkey bars or a swinging trapeze bar to make it move back and forth even more! You can add the trapeze bar to your playset in a variety of lengths to fit any backyard set you may have. A great exercise tool, your children will increase their strength with an addition like this. Imagine the games they will be able to create, pretending to soar over the crowd as a circus performer or Olympian. The buoy ball can be removed from the trapeze bar when desired. Combining accessories like this can be a great way to utilize the benefits of each one to its fullest extent.
A chain ladder addition to a playset can make for a creative way to climb onto the equipment. Different lengths are available to fit different sized kids playground equipment. Two particular playground series, Treehouse and Mountain Series, are the most compatible with a chain ladder accessory. While the ladder is a chain net, it is coated in durable plastic to prevent pinching of fingers in between chain links and for durability. Why would your children opt to climb a simple wooden ladder onto the playset if they had the option to be a mountain climber, taming the rugged terrain as they ascended the hill?
There is a big difference between a straight, plain slide and a deluxe wave slide. The difference will be best seen in the look on your children's faces as they slide down the slick, thrilling slide! This slide can be added to any playset that has a five foot deck. Most playground accessories available on the market today come in a variety of colors so you can customize the look of your backyard playset. As always make sure you ask your playground builder on whether this applies to which playground because each playground will be unique.
