Berlin Events Are Best Enjoyed When Renting A Holiday Apartment

Creative artists, musicians and others are now calling Berlin home and this diverse culture is producing a city with even more promise and excitement than has been witnessed in the past.

Famous for a unique combination of fashion, architecture, and historical significance, Berlin is a shining star that is irresistible and alluring. The largest of all European theatre shows is the Friedrichstadtpalast, which is located in Berlin, Germany. This is the place to come when you want to see pure live entertainment on stage. When you visit the Friedrichstadtpalast you will be able to watch a variety of acts from musicals to Las Vegas style reviews.

The city of Berlin is well respected for its role as a leader in the entertainment industry. A visitor can see shows and special events being performed at the Maxim Gorki, the Schaubuhne on Lehniner Platz, the Berliner Ensemble, or the Volksbuhne. In addition, there are some fringe theatres that specialize in avant garde productions. The F40, the HAU, and the Brotfabrik are 3 of the more famous ones that come to mind.

Dazzling dancers can be seen performing on stake at the Tanzwerkstatt Berlin or the Sophiensale. There are also a large number of improv artists that are playing to large audiences at places such as the Ratibortheater. Visitors are also offered the opportunity to go to the Kurfurstendamm and watch entertainers who are keeping the traditional small Parsian theatre performances alive.

The city has many hotels that provide comfortable accommodations for out of town guests. However, the practice of renting a holiday apartment is becoming the preference for many guests. These rental apartments often are far more convenient and spacious than hotels, and the cost is extremely budget friendly. Staying in one of these cozy apartment settings makes you feel right at home as you explore all of the hottest nightspots that are just a few feet from your front door.

The Lange Nacht der Museen is held in January and August. This is when more than 100 of the city's most famous museums remain open throughout the night. The Long Night of the Museum is always an eagerly anticipated event.

The German Women's Tennis Open is a heavily attended Berlin event that occurs annually in May. The summer season continue to pique interest among tourists with an array of special celebrations including the Karneval der Kulturen, the Fete de la Musique, and the Christopher Street Day parade that all take place during the month of June. As summer winds down to a close, the Berlin Beer Festival is celebrated during August. This is a time for tourists to enjoy sampling different beverages. There are thousands of various beer brands available for all adults to taste test.

September is the month that the city plays host to the Berlin Marathon, and the following month is when the world famous Oktoberfest occurs. No matter what season you choose to visit Berlin there is always a great event that will be listed on the city schedule.
