Mind Power Made Easy
A simple way to look at the psychology of success, the science of applied mind power, is to see your life as always either half-empty or half-full, much like a glass of water.
Since you get more of what you focus on, when you focus on the empty part, you get more empty experiences, and when you focus on the full part, your desires are fulfilled.
Some people, motivated by fear, work very, very hard to end up with nothing. Then, in frustration, they try even harder.
They see the glass as half-empty and desperately try to fill it up. Since their subconscious mind believes in emptiness, it quickly makes sure that the glass is partially emptied when it does fill up. Because this mind cannot reason, it takes the inner vision literally and ensures a half-empty glass.
Although, the conscious mind is working hard to fill up the glass, the subconscious mind always wins because it is many times more powerful in creating reality. The only way to change this situation is to focus on how much is in the glass.
Your inner view shapes how your subconscious mind acts. It develops this inner picture into a tangible, outer experience. What happens on the outside is not as important as what is happening on the inside. Since what you focus on is what your mind power brings into your experience, it is vital that you focus on what you do want. In this way, you reinforce the idea of success.
How your perception influences your reality is a complex process. What you see stimulates your mind power to attract more of the same.
When you see success, even in the midst of a complete loss, your mind attracts what you envision.
Conversely, when you see failure, even at the height of success, your mind sabotages your achievements.
Your inner vision always defines your results.
The good life is a choice, a choice of perception.
For example, Donald Trump went from being billions of dollars in debt to earning billions. What he saw on the inner, regardless of outer events, turned the tide in his favor. He took positive action to change his situation because he saw himself as highly successful and refused to accept the negative opinions of the media.
Getting things is not the only use of mind power. There is also another use: you can apply it to stop getting things that you do not want. For example, you may be tired of feeling stressed. By mediating you can learn to be easy and relaxed, healthy and positive, and still get the same amount of things done, maybe even more.
