Enjoy Casino Gambling Without Losing Your Shirt By Playing Roulette
For most people, gambling is just fun. You throw a few bucks out there and just the chance of winning is enough to satisfy some people. Unfortunately, it is gambling and when we play the wrong games, our bankrolls can take a pretty big hit fairly quickly. In order to avoid that, you should play games that allow you to manage your bankroll a little better and roulette is one of them, this you can pick up from studying the pro roulette players..
When you play craps, you can burn through $200 on a $5 table in about 5 minutes with a few bad rolls. $5 on the line, $10 behind it and taking the outside numbers for $5 each will have you betting $35 a pop. A roll takes about 15 seconds and if they miss their point on 6 straight rolls, which happens quite frequently, you are broke.
Blackjack can offer the same gloom and doom. It takes the dealer about 20 seconds to deal a hand. Even if you are playing the minimum $5 bet, you can lose about $15 a minute and be out of cash in under 15 minutes. That is not a lot of fun for $200.
Then of course we have the infamous one armed bandits. You put your money in and spin the wheel and hope for the best. With some of the new video machines that they have out, a $.05 machine quickly turns into a $2.25 machine. The machines are set up for you to lose and while it may take a little longer, you can still be broke in about 15 or 20 minutes if the machine is cold.
Roulette is unlike any of those other games because you do not need to put out a lot of money in order to give yourself a better chance of winning. The wheel only has 36 numbers and one or two zeros (depending if you are playing the American or European wheel). While your payouts may be a little lower this way, you are still piling up comps and raking in chips.
How you place your chips is what roulette is all about. While it is great to hit that big 35:1 payout, it is unrealistic to think that you are going to be able to predict the one number that is going to come out. Even pro roulette players cannot predict the wins. Instead, cover 6 numbers with one chip and get 5:1 odds. Your profit will only be $1 overall, but you are covering most of the board. If you want to be a little riskier, go for the corner bet at 8:1 odds.
With having 20 numbers covered, you are still on over 50% of the board and have a better chance of winning than losing. If your numbers hit, you are now taking down a $3 profit, but you also do not need to win as much in order to be ahead of the game. Regardless of the method that you are playing, you are going to be action a lot longer and time played is one of the two main factors for computing comps.
Professionals can walk into a casino and play any one of the games that they want you to play or you can play smart and play pro roulette. Craps and blackjack are set up to take your money. Sure there are those that will get lucky every now and again and walk with some serious money, but those stories are few and far between. Take control of your bankroll and give roulette a shot. The wins may not be as big, but you will be in action longer and have a much better chance of walking out with money in your pocket. So follow what pro roulette players do and play roulette.
