The Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10

When one considers entry level high definition TV sets, one scarcely expects to see a TV capable of producing a full 1080p resolution. One entry level TV that does just that is the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10. This 32 inch viewable set produces very high quality high definition images and costs less than nearly all models with this capability.

One thing I've also heard is that the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10 has a really simple onscreen menu. Too simple for many, in fact. Apparently, there is no ability to calibrate the backlight and the colour from this menu. Some more advanced users frown on this but again, consider the upsides of this television and you'll get over the menu issue.

Most gamers are looking for the optimum 1 to 1 pixel mapping functionality that comes with SD and 720p resolution. That isn't possible with the Panasonic TX-L32S10 1080p but you're still going to get incredible images with this model. This set is a favourite with gamers who are using xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. With no edge enhancement, you'd think that you would end up with softening but there really isn't anything like that happening here.

To some, this lack of mapping ability poses a problem. If you feel that it's too much of a disadvantage to your playing, perhaps you should look at the next set up. However, when you're looking for a great television at a great price, the Panasonic TX-L32S10 is the solution.

I think that this set must have been designed with gamers in mind. It seems like there is no better way to describe the capabilities of this high definition TV than to say that it's a gamers dream. You can't find another 2009 HDTVE model that has so many awesome perks, especially for the price. Ok, so what is the downside? Keep in mind, these things were reported, but not proven to be true, so this is just a brief overview. Some gamers said that there is a little fraction of ghost imaging because of the backlight flicker. Most people who have used the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10 HD television for gaming haven't noticed the issue. Decide for yourself.

The quality of sound on the Panasonic TX-L32S10 is incredible, especially considering the placement of the speakers. A little more thought could have been given to the placement but it is obvious that Panasonic was attempting to point the speakers out so that viewing from the front of the television would be perfect.

After all, if you want better sound quality, you can always add on to this set. It's easy enough to add surround sound to the Panasonic Viera TX-L32S10.

Let's face it, this is a very basic, entry level HD television. However, the Panasonic TX-L32S10 is full of surprises. I really can't believe the low price that you pay for this high of quality images. You will find that there is sharpness with this model that you just don't find elsewhere, especially not for the price. If you are one who has issue with slight colour issues, you may be unhappy with the redness of skin tones, but again, it is really not an awfully big issue. Most people will never notice it. Just keep in mind that you're getting an awful lot for a little price tag.
