Some Various Hollywood Movie Story Lines To Check Out
It used to be that you had to go to the video store to get a movie. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. You will find just about any movie you want with a good movie download site. Below is a small sample.
Mac and Me: Sort of an E.T. copy in reference to Mac, an outer space being, and his plight in suburban L.A. It is more of a television advertisement than a film. There's a production number set in a McDonald's, and the alien lives on Coca-Cola. Cast includes Christine Ebersole, Jonathan Ward, Katrina Caspary, Lauren Stanley, and Jade Calegory. (93 minutes, 1988)
Fantastic Invasion of The Planet Earth: Discharged theatrically in 3-D, this movie was pretty much a disaster. A young couple finds themselves caught in a deserted town encircled in a mammoth bubble. The original title, The Bubble, was far less deceiving: there are no foreigners and no "invasion" in fact, and not much enthusiasm, either. Cast includes Filmed in widescreen Space-Vision. There's Something About Mary: Ted has had a crush on Mary since high school. A good friend convinces Ted to search Mary down. So Ted hires a private detective to locate Mary. This sets the stage for a fun comedy romance.
Swordfish: Gabriel Shear, Swordfish, knows where there is a lot of money. The problem is that it is in cyberspace. To steal it, he kidnaps former super hacker Stanley Jobson. He then pressures Stanley to comply, or suffer consequences.
M: Fascinating, brilliant re-make of the Fritz Lang classic set in L.A., with Wayne as young killer being chased down by a group of mobsters. Cast includes David Wayne, Howard De Silva, Luther Adler, Karen Morley, Joy Cartright, Martin Gabel, and Norman Lloyd. (88 minutes, 1951)
Faces: Highly personal drama in regards to numerous infidelities is one of the few Cassel films to become a big hit. Here's a commanding film with awesome action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery. (130 minutes, 1968)
Mystery Alaska: Remote Alaskan town's hockey team is given the possibility to play the N.Y. Rangers as a publicity stunt. There is a hodgepodge cast of characters and an unavoidable big game finale. Crowe is the only one to ascend above the material. Cast includes Russell Crowe, Burt Reynolds, Hank Azaria, Mary McCormack, Lolita Davidovich, Mike Myers, and Little Richard. (118 minutes, 1999)
House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes, 1945)
Jury of One: Trudging melodrama in reference to a lady who goes to shocking extremes to defend her child who is on trial for murder and rape. Gabin plays the magistrate. Cast includes Sophia Loren, Jean Gabin, Henri Garcin, Julien Bertheau, and Michel Albertini. (97 minutes, 1974)
