World Ventures Meeting: Get Involved in the Travel Industry
A World Ventures meeting is probably happening near you. A quick internet search shows there are meetings happening throughout the US. Many people are excited about getting the word out about this company.
World Ventures sells two products. The first, Dream Trips, allows members to vacation for discounted rates. The second, the LTC package, lets buyers become Leisure Travel Consultants, who are allowed to sell travel packages through Rovia, World Ventures' exclusive travel provider.
A World Ventures meeting is a chance for LTCs to show what the company is about, and sign up people for Dream Trips, and to become LTCs themselves, if they wish to do so. The income potential of the company is promoted heavily, encouraging people to join and get their piece of the $8 trillion worldwide travel industry.
In reality, although the travel industry is huge, it is also highly competitive. A customized website and a few video tutorials don't do enough to prepare members for online success. So members are encouraged to have family, coworkers, and friends go to their website. After a while there are no more people to ask, website traffic dwindles, and people get discouraged.
Successful LTCs learn how to rent ballrooms and give sales seminars, exactly like the ones mentioned above. There is no emphasis put on internet marketing. Many people never really get started making an income with this. Their time would have been better spent learning about marketing first, and picking a company later.
Today individuals can learn marketing over the internet, from real marketing experts. Students can work the classes around a job, or around taking care of the kids. Most important, you won't have to try to get everyone you know to visit your silly travel site. You'll learn how to market your website to everyone surfing the web.
You will never be restricted to just selling MLM once you learn how to be a marketer. You can sell affiliate products, or even learn how to make a living promoting the websites of local businesses. There are literally hundreds of ways to get paid with marketing, once you have the skills.
My recommendation is to stay away from that World Ventures meeting, and instead invest a little money and time into learning the skills it takes to be a successful marketer. Those are skills that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
