Why Drink More Water Than Any Other Beverage?

Why drink more water daily or just more water for the rest of your life? One of the biggest and healthiest changes you can make is to drink more water. Many people do not drink enough water and your body needs to have water.

Water will hydrate your body without any additional chemicals or additives. There is caffeine in many drinks and quite often these drinks do not have any nutritional value other than (maybe) sugar. And depending on the beverage, it may actually work against keeping you dehydrated - for instance, alcohol dehydrates you.

Alcohol will dehydrate you. Through the dehydration is how intoxication occurs, by robbing the brain what is needs to operate properly. Caffeine will also dehydrate the body. If this all that you drink then your body will be in constant state of needing water.

We all see what happens to a plant to that lacks water; the same effect can occur to the human body. The body can live up to 3 weeks without any food but only 3 days without water. This fact should impress upon you how important water is to the human body.

One way that you make dieting easier and healthier for you is to drink water. When you diet your body will go through obvious changes, water will help your body adjust faster to regulate body temperature and other bodily functions. Drinking water throughout the day and with meals will help eat less. Water makes the body feel fuller and the body will not confuse dehydration with hunger.

There are many reasons to drink more water on a daily basis. You can almost never have too much water in your diet. Make the effort to replace every drink with water. Coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at dinner is OK, as long as your main beverage throughout the day is water.
