Stress Management For Women: No Woman, No Cry
Stress management is needed by everybody. Women get stressed as much as men do, even if they're simple housewives. While stress is good in small amounts, in a woman's case, it's more likely to pile up more. This is why women often just burst out into tears for no apparent reason.
Just as Bob Marley said in "No Woman, No Cry", everything is gonna be alright; that is if you know how to handle stress. Managing stress for women is actually simple. Just grab your life by the throat and go. But with their busy schedules, they forget to take care of their own health. So how can you find time for stress management? Here are a few tips for you to start taking control of your life:
Organize and Prioritize Organizing and prioritizing makes for less clutter and, therefore panic, in your day to day life. Organize what things you need done today, and do the most important first. Organizing can also be taken literally; rearrange your home so it's easier on the eyes. Prioritizing also includes the things to buy for the home. Do these two, and you'll have lesser worries.
Value Family Time Women have the knack for doing more work even on weekends. Weekends were made so there can be days off. Use the weekend to bond with the family, and unwind in the process. Go watch a movie. Go on a picnic. Get closer to nature. A change in scenery helps refresh your mind.
Set aside time for romance - maintaining a romantic relationship with your husband can help keep the flame going between the two of you. A study in Arizona State University have found that sex can lead you to feel less stressed and being less stressed can lead to more sex, and it has also been found out that women shows less little stress response after making love with her partner.
Don't Forget Yourself The female gender tends to be superwomen. They give more time for their family and don't usually care about themselves. Take care of yourself. Better yet, give time for self-pampering. Get a massage. Unwinding with family is good, but you should learn to unwind by yourself.
Be an optimist - get rid of negative thoughts that can just add up to your stress level. Being an optimist can help you analyze the problem better and look for solutions that are more effective.
Being stressed too long puts you in the risk of developing serious mental disorders. Take control of stress, not the other way around.
