How to Win Back Your Ex and Be Smart about It
How to win back your ex is the same pretty much whatever the situation surrounding your break-up. It all comes down to psychology and making the right move at the right moment. But if you want to make the process as fast and as smooth as possible then you have to be emotionally strong and not let your feelings make decisions for you.
The strategy behind how to win back your ex may seem a bit odd, but it is a tried and tested method:
First, don't try to get in touch with your ex. That means no phoning, no texting, no email -- no communication at all. Keep this "no communication zone" going for about a month. I know I said this was going to be a quick process, but a month is nothing when it comes to permanent "togetherness" in the end.
In the long run, too, it's going to lessen the time it takes to resolve things. Right now, anything you try to say to your ex is going to be taken negatively anyway, probably, and it's only going to push him or her further away.
So, use the time and space you have now to focus on you, and to do these two things:
1. First, decide: Do you really want to get back together? If so, you'll need to figure out what went wrong and then fix your part in it.
2. Give yourself a makeover. Basically, you want to be feeling extremely positive and happy with yourself when the time comes to arrange to meet your ex again. A healthy body and mind will make it much easier for you to stay one step ahead of the game and it will also mean your ex will be more attracted to you again.
So again, make sure you're totally "incommunicado" with your ex for that 30 days. If you've been contacting your ex up to now and it hasn't worked, take a break. That's not how you're going to bring your ex back, if you are going to. You should also know that this is just the start, and you should use this time to figure out what you want to do next.
