The 4 Most Common Signs Of A Cheating Partner

By Kristin Thorne
Nov 4, 2009
If you start to suspect that your husband or wife is having an affair with someone else, your whole world probably collapses. To begin with, the two of you had a loving, affectionate relationship, and you could hardly keep your hands off each other. But maybe your relationship gradually became more like a daily routine or a habit. As nobody knows your partner better than you, it is very natural that you become suspicious if they change their behavior towards you.

Maybe you still have the same love feelings for your husband, fiance, wife, or fiancee, but suddenly you sense that something has changed. Your partner doesn't show you much affection or interest anymore.

Now you might start to wonder if your spouse is cheating on you, but you can't ask them directly, because you can't know for sure. Slamming an accusation of that kind straight to their face might just make things much harder, if the reason for their changed behavior turned out to be something other than you thought.

But before you say or do something you might regret later, you ought to know the 4 of most common signs of cheating:

1. Secretive cell phone behavior. Your partner leaves the room to talk in private, and doesn't want you nearby. You might even find out that they have deleted all traces of their calls and text messages.

2. Smells from an aftershave or perfume you don't know. Does this ring a bell? Maybe your spouse has become almost obsessed with their looks, clothes and overall appearance, something they maybe never fuzzed about before.

3. Coming up with reasons to leave the home at unusual hours. Frequent "business trips", working late all the time, too many meetings, or getting together with some friends you have never heard of.

4. Spending hours privately in front of the computer, and making sure not to leave any traces of their internet activities, or even making sure you can't log into the computer anymore, by changing the password.

Here above you see just a few examples of cheaters' common behavior. But the thing is, that although your gut feeling tells you that your spouse is having an affair with someone else, you can't accuse them without solid proofs. And don't forget to think about your own health and happiness! Suspecting, but not knowing for sure can have a deep impact on you.

You need to gather evidence that your mate is cheating on you, but how?

Don't come outright and ask your partner if they are having an affair, because you will most probably just hear a bunch of lies. It is an absolutely necessity that you build a strong case against them first prior to facing them.

You could hire an expensive private investigator to gather evidence for you, or you could just as well do it yourself by following proven methods used by private investigators worldwide for decades, for the price of one meal!

Some of the things you must learn, is how to un-erase erased text messages, to reverse look up cell phone numbers, and how to catch them cheating even when they are nowhere around. And how do spy on their online activities, access their phone records, just to mention a few things.

You need to prepare yourself carefully before you confront them, legally, emotionally and verbally. You have to ensure that all your bases are covered so that your partner won't be able to lie their way out of it!
