Transfer factor addresses the need for a healthy immune system. A healthy immune system means less disease and less illness. In the news is how we as a society are getting sicker not healthier. So we all need to start taking better care of our immune system.

However, we have to realize that no matter the efficacy of a supplement, people will not eliminate disease and illness merely by taking a pill. Like social security which was intended to supplement our retirement not be our retirement, diet supplements are only meant to help us be healthy not make us healthy.

You need discipline. That is a bad word for many, but the truth is you need to eat a healthy diet. You need to get seven to eight hours of sleep. And you need proper exercise. All of these healthy habits leads to a stronger immune system. So do not think of it as discipline think of it as adopting healthy habits.

Next time you go to the supermarket see if you can make the connection. You read about the increase in cancer, diabetes, and heart disease in our society. Now to down the lane where the chips are sold. Then take a look at all the beer and liquor you can buy. Then look at the cupboards under lock and key where you can buy tobacco once you get the store manager to unlock the doors to their precious stash of cigarettes.

And on your drive home you will see a chain of fast food outlets all with convenient drive through so people do not have to even get out of their cars to buy burgers, fries, soda, and deep fried apple pies. And as good as exercise is for us all still only a small percentage of people actually get exercise.

Do you know that more people cause accidents on the road because they fall asleep at the wheel than do drunk drivers? As a society we do not get enough sleep it is that simple. Our bodies need seven to eight hours of sleep because this is when the body repairs itself.

No supplement is going to cure your life of sleep of deprivation. Your body needs sleep. This is the time it repairs itself from sixteen hours of straight activity. Your immune system is like a fort. It is made up of strong walls.

Your immune system is a wall that needs daily repair. Eating wrong foods, getting no exercise, and improper sleep keeps your walls from being repaired. Once there is a break in your walls illness and disease can penetrate. Once in illness and disease breaks down your walls from within. Then it is too late. Transfer factor is all about your immune system. Healthy eating, proper sleep and exercise is also about your immune system. One is a supplement, one is a requirement.
