Let us start with the most obvious benefits of high speed internet services. The largest benefit is definitely the speed. If you have ever used a dial up internet connection you will understand the frustration that many people feel with the speed. Whatever your preferred choice, a fast internet connection is the way to go, and when you do decide to take the plunge, you wonder why it took you so long to get around to it.
If you only ever use the web for surfing, and you never ever download anything, dial up is still painfully slow, but you might decide that you could continue to suffer the inconvenience of the slowest of speeds, and if you have nothing better to do with your time; then that's your choice; but just bear in mind that the cost of high speed is only a little more than dial up anyway, but you get so much more freedom of time.
Just think what you could do with the time you would save by going high speed. All of those projects that you've side lined could suddenly be open for review; or if you are short on relaxation time for game playing etc, going high speed will grant you that extra freedom time to spend any way you wish.
