Information on window cleaning in South London

There are several different types of south London window cleaners for you to choose from. Many companies in South London still use the traditional water fed pole and wash system for glass cleaning particularly for those buildings that are considered to be risky or highly dangerous.

Windows cleaners use pure water as this is best for removing dirt and other substances. Pure water is run over the surface and this then absorbs and dissolves the substances due to the polarity off the water molecules. Pure water also leaves a streak free finish after the windows have been rinsed.

The water fed poles that are used can reach heights of up to 70 feet. These poles will be topped with a Valkan brush. With these long poles it is no longer necessary to use ladders when window cleaning.

Many companies will add a rain repellant additive to the water. This additive keeps the windows clean for longer and they do not need to be cleaned as locally. This reduces costs in the long run and also is more environmentally friendly as you do not waste as much water. These additives are made up of hydrophobic polymers that repel water.

It is possible to find South London window cleaners that clean residential windows and others that specialize in commercial window cleaning. The commercial window cleaning companies have many resources available and are able to take care of any buildings. They will use crane access, water fed poles and other tools to clean your windows.

Today in the UK using ladders for window cleaning is illegal and many people still use them as they do not understand the new laws. You want to make sure that the company you use does not use ladders as you will then be liable if something should happen while they are in your service. Make sure the company you hire is window washing following the law.
