This is easier than the real life selling, as you don't have to deal with the people directly. There are many helpful guides available to learn Internet Marketing. The advantage is that for doing work once, you keep earning from it for a long time.
If you like to do research and are ready to put efforts then internet marketing is a good way to start your online career. But if you are just looking to make some extra bucks then choose any of the above options.
