You could do something delicate together. Don't try and put him in a dress (unless he's into that). Don't force him to watch a chick flick every night or expect him to always be on his artistic side. He may be insulted by your attempts if you are overly persistent in trying to turn him more feminine which will cause your plan to backfire. Set a realistic goal and stick to it.
Patience is a virtue when learning how to feminize your house husband. Everyone is different, just try different things. The main thing that matters is that everyone is happy. Don't sacrifice happiness for this goal if you have to. Think about him as well, and that will lead to even more appreciation from him.
