Another roofing option is vinyl. This material is a highly resistant to fire, more than any other material. The vinyl membranes are self-extinguishing when the heat source is removed. It is different because it is naturally fire resistant.
It is very important to choose the right roofing material for your home. Factors such as the climatic conditions of the area, how close your home is to any forest or industrial area etc. should be considered while making any decision.
