There is an emotional response that comes with flowers that goes beyond their beauty and fragrance. Flowers can change your mood and bring joy and healing qualities. They can make a woman feel special and bring romance into a relationship between two people. At then end of a performance flowers can make the performer feel appreciated and they can be used to say a simple 'thank you' as well.

Giving flowers have been a clear symbol over the years of saying, 'you are someone special'. It is pretty difficult to receive flowers and not feel something very positive. Flowers are icons of something very uplifting, even mysterious. Roses are a staple for a symbol of love on Valentine's Day and something that will be long remembered when given during courtship. To celebrate birthdays they make the recipient feel happy and appreciated. How great is that?

The holidays are the perfect time to send the gift of flowers to bring cheer and beauty to family and friends. The holiday festivities are just made better and more glorious with the addition of the floral bouquet or centerpiece. Seeing them on the dining table makes everyone feel happy. Weddings are always full of flowers because the celebration is a very happy one and flowers bring more joy. The bridal bouquet is also an important traditional part of the wedding celebration.

If you want to say something special, say it with flowers and you cannot go wrong. Flowers represent a feeling, a truism or a mood. There have been a lot of studies down about the meaning of different flowers. For example, most of us know that the baby yellow roses represent or convey friendship while the white or red roses are about romance, pure love and passion.

Some flowers will just enhance a particular mood or feeling just by their presence. The white lily is known as an icon for purity or an inner awareness while the emotions of a first love experience are enhanced by the purple lilac. For a boost to self esteem, sage will be a help. To increase amiability then white jasmine is your choice. For the modest person white lilac is the way to go.

Each flower is especially good at evoking different kinds of feelings. For instance, just being around the hibiscus makes you feel pretty and the sensitive person feels more sensitivity from being around mimosa. For the timid person, they will probably be drawn to the pansy. For feeling really elegant, try yellow jasmine and for feeling light of heart you will enjoy larkspur. For getting happiness back into your life the lily of the valley is your flower. The bluebell inspires consistency and the patriot enjoys the nasturtium. This one is great for the Independence Day celebrations. The rananculus enhances the inherent charms of a person while the gardenia inspires sensuality.

We all know that the rose is about love. For devotion the honeysuckle works well. If peace and silence are the mood then lavender will help. The rose-scented geranium helps with discernment in all things and the hollyhocks spur on ambition. If mastery and excellence are the goal then camellia is the flower of choice. To heal grief use the magnolia and the red poppy for consolation. For remembrance of someone special use rosemary and for a fraternal love use woodbine in your bouquet.

With all the wonderful choices in flowers available, finding the perfect match to your mood or for your message should not be too difficult. There is a kind of spiritual link between the flowers and the person which makes them such wonderful gifts. Ask your florist for ideas for the perfect flowers for your needs.
