This enables goods to be sent across the country and the world and will arrive in as good a condition as is possible without actually freezing the product. A lot of restaurants and outlets don't serve items of frozen food because they believe that some taste is lost along the way.
Chicken, or any of the by products, has caused several problems in the past. Those who remember the salmonella problems which occurred some years back will understand how difficult it is to transport. Eggs too came under scrutiny and the public left them sitting on the shelves for fear of contracting this very bad disease.
Many companies will supply cartons in appropriately sized styles for those who want to supply in bulk or wholesale. Made of strong corrugated cardboard to sustain the weight of the product, the carton is then coated in a thick wax substance to ensure that there is no risk of contamination. If care is taken on opening these cartons, it is likely that they can be reused on another occasion. If this is likely to happen, remember to avoid putting fish in chicken cartons and vice versa. That is, don't ever use chicken cartons for anything other than chicken. Although these cartons may look a little expensive, a good way to offset the cost is to print the name of the company on them. Telephone numbers, email addresses and any other relevant information should be printed on the box for the best results.
