If you are looking for a fantastic holiday full of sand, clubbing and other young people's attractions then Ibiza is known as one of the most common places to visit. On the other hand, not many people realise that it is also a great place for a family holiday. This has not always been the case, but in recent years it has made a big effort to become a more family orientated island.
While it is still very popular amongst teenagers who are looking for clubs, there are also other resorts that cater for more family tastes.
For example no matter what age you are you will always be able to enjoy the amazing beaches that Ibiza has to offer.
There are also plenty of other things you can do in Ibiza apart from go to the beach . First of all there is Ibiza Town which while still having a reputation for being a very rowdy place is still full of fantastic places to visit.
Like choosing any holiday, you need to first decide what type of holiday you want. This will largely be decided by the age of your family, but if you just want a regular beach holiday then you can be sure that Ibiza is a good choice.
Beaches aren't the only thing there in Ibiza though, and if you're looking for something a little bit different you can still find it, you just have to look a little bit harder. Take your time to look around at the various deals on offer and the different types of resorts.
Where you choose to stay can have a big effect on the type of holiday that you have. This is why when you visit Ibiza, you need to do thorough research into what kind of resort you want to go to.
Even if you aren't in the exact place that you want to be, the island is so small that you will nearly always be able to see every part of the island that you want as long as you are willing to do a bit of travelling.
You can either hire a car, or pay a taxi to take you where you want. The adventurous may even ride a bike!
