Popularity Of Christine Blundell In The Hollywood Industry

The styling, hair, and makeup department are like the backbones of any film industry, they definitely cannot work them. The great Hollywood films that we see could not have been a success if they had lousy makeup, and hair styling. The makeup that is done for the movies is definitely different from the one that is done in real life, so the film makeup would never work in the real life.

Quite a large number of skilled and renowned makeup are there, and hair stylists in the film industry that create wonders for the people on screen. One of such stylists stands out in the crowd of stylists in the film industry just because of her creativity, and excellence in skill. Commonly known as Chris, her full name is Christine Blundell.

This gifted person was born in October 1961 stamped with a spirit of ingenuity that later attracted lots of applaud, and appreciation from many personalities. Her initial experience with hair styling, and makeup skills was working with certain band in the late 1970s. She later started working in a salon in Kensington Market. After the experience at this salon, she took a trip to the stunning area of Cape Town. The aim of this trip was to educate people about the use of synthetic hair extensions.

Christine Blundell then went on to opening her own salon, which gave services of hairdressing; she became quite a success in the four years of opening of the salon. The salon of Christine Blundell's was a big promoter of high-end fashion. This gave her the chance to make a name in the television, and film industry, and pursuing her career in it using the skill and talent with which she was blessed. All the profits that she made from her salon were further invested to her advantage in various makeup courses. The courses were normally of three months.

Just as she finished the course, she was employed for working on the Phantom of The Opera for doing prosthetics. It continued until Chris received an offer to work in the Isle of Man where she would assist cutting loads of hair of the extras into short back and side. Now Chris has learned to work with L.W.T makeup, and hair team. Work of Chris bemused them and they engaged her for the upcoming productions.

Her career advanced into film when Mike Leigh asked for her assistance for a new film, Life is Sweet. All this leaded to a long, healthy, and successful relationship with Mike Leigh. Christine Blundell is known for her great magic that she has worked on movies.

The most notables of her works include the boat that rocked (2009 - for hair and makeup), Happy-Go-Luck (2008 - hair and makeup), Sunshine (2007 - chief hair and makeup designer), Casino Royale (2006- hairdressing), and a lot many more. Her latest work can be seen in Sherlock Holmes and London Boulevard.

In recognition of her work, she has been given many awards. She goes the nomination by the British Academy of film, and television art as the Best hair and makeup for Vera Drake (2004), and Finding Nederland (2004). Then she won an award for Topsy-Turvy (1999). As before, her latest work would also get great response, which would be aired soon.
