Seven Techniques To Attract The People You Like

Aug 17, 2007
Human being is a social animal. We heard this phrase often until it is a cliche'. We depend on each other so much that we can not live alone. The interaction with others also determines how fast you can move forward in your career and other areas. No matter what you do, you still need to contact other people on a regular basis. The people you met, however, can be from different backgrounds and have different characters. Some of them are good and some are bad depending to your opinion toward them. In this article, we will talk about how to attract people you like into your life.

What is the type of the person we like most? From the human behavior research, we found that people like the persons who are like themselves. Mostly, closed friends share some of the common interest or background or habits. Spouses also have something in common. At the same token, we will be liked by others if we have something in common with them. The major point here is how we are going to do that. Seven techniques can help you to align yourselves and attract the people you like into your life.

1. Dress properly
Our appearance is what people see in the first place. You need to make sure that you dress in line with the protocol. You need to know exactly what is considered proper in the place you are going. Your proper dress can make a good impression for the people who see you.

2. Watch your speech
Talk with confidence. People like and admire the person who have high self esteem and is confident in himself. Talk nicely to everybody no matter what status they are in. Do not gossip. Gossiping can easily destroy your credibility.

3. Look into the eyes of the people you like and smile
When you smile, you open your invitation to people. It is almost a reflex then when you see people smile at you, you smile back. This happens in almost every society. To look into the eyes of your counterpart is to reveal your sincerity.

4. Talk about the topic that they like.
When you are engaged in a conversation, make sure that what you talk is the subject of interest of the one you are talking with. How are you going to know that? You ask questions. Asking proper questions will lead you to know a lot more about the person whom you are talking with. Do not talk about yourself but instead talk more about them. You can share some of your story but let's not make it the major priority. You are there to learn about other people not to show off your competent or something. You will find that people like you more when you talk about what they like.

5. Listen and wait for the rhythm
Conversation is like the music. You need to listen more to get the joy out of it. Some people say we have two ears and one mouth because we need to listen more than we talk. This is a good explanation. If you listen more and wait to add the right comment, you will score better impression than you talk all the time.

6. Matching and mirroring
Remember that people like the people who are like them? We can make use of the theory by imitate what they do. You can imitate their gesture, tone of voice and the expression on their face. If you do exactly the same way, it is called matching. If you imitate like you look into the mirror, it is called mirroring. Both can be a power tool to use. Don't make it so obvious that they catch you doing this. Make it in a optimal way and you will be surprised by the result you get.

7. Visualization
Before you go out, visualize that you meet the persons you want to meet. Make visualization that you achieve what you want and can get who you wan to perform exactly you want them to do. Visualization can help you attract the people you like into your life. You can add Attraction Accelerator which is background audio to enhance the power of your attraction process.
