Looking Jazzy On DDR Dance Revolution

Oct 31, 2007
Dance Revolution extreme has slowly but steadily climbed up the renown charts among the kids and the adults alike. It has found a permanent spot for itself in all the arcade centers of the globe. That is the reason why, playing a PC dance revolution game is much of a people thing than a personal thing. Very few people have DDR games in their homes, so most people who want to play them have to make beelines for the nearest arcades. And if someone is playing on the DDR, many eyes will be watching. That is the reason you have to look as groovy as possible.

Now here are some tips how you can make yourself look snazzy on a DDR game, especially when there are hundreds of eyes looking at you:-

1. Select a song that you will be comfortable with at the start. If you are not very well-versed with the DDR game, select a well-known song. The game is not as simple as it looks. It helps if you know the tune in advance, so that your reflexes will move that steps. Anyways, if you select a troublesome song that you don't know, there are chances that you will lose out on the game fast and lose your money fast too!

2. Never bring your feet back to the middle. Several people on DDR do this fail. Instead of putting your feet back in the middle after every step, take them directly to where they ought to go. That way you are saving your effort and do not get tired easily.

3. Learn how to alternate your feet. After every few moves, exchange the positions of your feet. This is because every song will have some bearing on one particular beat. That will cause one of your legs to do more of the work, and get tired faster. Also, if you master how to alternate your feet the right way, then it does look very good to the people who are watching.

4. Perform all your little moves on the dance pad, but do not perform the very distressing act of stomping on the dance pad. Not only does stomping look very amateurish to people who are watching, but it will also tire you much faster. Learn how to casually move your feet from one arrow to the other.

5. Pay attention to the track. Every music track, however not easy sounding it is at first, has normal beats and rhythm. So, as you play along, try to remember that beat. It will help you better in coordinating your movements.

Alike some other form of exercise, dance revolution music too needs a great deal of alertness and skill. And practice. Get these things right first. Then you will look your best funky self when playing the DDR game.
