A physically fit and healthy eye would be covered by a tear film. It is that fluid which remains between the blinks making your eyes wet.

The tear lining helps to keep your eyes free from infection and bacteria. It gives the eye a clean and clear vision without any irritation. The tear lining removes the dirt and any other dust particles that cause friction in your eyes.
