Becoming The Online Trump

Nov 9, 2007
Technology has revolutionized the business world as we know it. Today the average Joe in rural Tennessee can make money by doing more than considering his father's moonshine running business. He can collect antiques at local auctions and then sell them to New York City vintage enthusiasts for exponentially more than he paid the toothless fellow down the old tobacco road. Making money online has become increasingly easier and popular with time. Individuals are finding new ways to complete an old task: turn over an easy dollar.

First and foremost, individuals use the internet as a strong marketing tool for their business. Do we even know how many sites our internet hold? Millions? Trillions? Different business will create a new site every day, and thus offering to the world their products. Try googling the same world on the same day every week and see what different results you come up with. Thus one way that individuals have found a way to make money online simply involves expanding an established business by opening the market to the globe instead of their own community.

Secondly, even the average non-business owner has found a way to make money online. Online auctions have quickly become one of the most popular tools for the average Joe online. For some, bidding has become a game more addictive than slot machines in a casino. They can't let someone else win that item which they've spent days watching and bidding on. Those on the selling end have found profitable businesses by selling local products to a global market. Do you need a handmade dishcloth? How about an antique door knob? Maybe you're looking for a piece of china that your three-year-old just broke. In just about any case, individuals around the globe can meet your need just through online auctions.

Finally, freelance writers have found their niche in the world's biggest source of media. Dozens of sites need efficient writers, and thus several places have found a way to meet the needs of good businesspeople with lousy writing skills. The average Joe with some writing skills can make a decent living by working diligently and using his writing skills for the right company online.

The internet is truly amazing. Never before have we been able to communicate with others so quickly. Never before could we engage in global commerce with a small business owner in Tibet. But today we can. If this trend continues, making money online will only become easier.
