Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas - Could It Be As Superior As It Is Legendary?

Oct 7, 2010
We were on a travel to Bellagio and found it to be the ideal starting for our initial Las Vegas visit. We saw many of the other places during our journey and may really say that when we come back we're going to stay at the Bellagio once again. We did pay a visit to places like Mandalay Bay and Venetian but very much prefer the spot and inner brightness within the Bellagio. The place is ideal, at the heart of the strip, the room (Salone Suite in the Spa Tower) appeared to be extremely good, absolutely nothing to complain about whatsoever, looking over the Strip in front and also the pool area/hills aside. The lavatory was substantial and even had a attractive picture window looking over the swimming pool and the mountains. We were on floor 12, which has been ideal - not way too high, however with wonderful sights.

Sure, mineral water, internet etcetera cost a lot but here are a few ideas:

Mineral water within the Bellagio can be around $5. The people at the avenue flip it from cold bins for $1. Or, even better, while you leave the reception and enter into their carpark (Casino level) straight away beside the threshold is a drinking water fountain. Its beautiful and ice cold. All of us topped up our plastic bottles each and every time we went by. In addition there are water fountains within the hotel throughout the seminar, business part of the Bellagio, and that is generally rather quiet and empty. We were there for three days before we even found that part!

Internet. We did not use net in our room but simply visit the Business Center - check opening times, I think it might close up at 4pm every day - and ask to use one of their pcs to check-in plane tickets and so on. Many of us did. It was no cost.

We attended 'O' and it has been splendid, clearly the very best of a few shows we attended. We attempted to reserve seats just before leaving home, but could hardly obtain really decent seating available. Then we phoned Bellagio (assistant) that not just arranged us the top seats in the place (they arrange specific rows for hotel guests) but gave us all a 25% price cut! The many shows we visited have been wonderful but 'O' and Terry Fator have been really the best.

Last but not least, we absolutely suggest renting a car. We did walk a great deal too, though the car was very helpful. Only takes twenty minutes from the airport to Bellagio. Fuel is low-priced and car parking costs nothing just about everywhere. We drove to Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon (just forty minutes away and wonderful), Mount Charleston, and many outside of town shopping locations.

Inspite of all we did, there's still a lot to do and see in Las Vegas and we'll absolutely return back and stay at the Bellagio Hotel once again!

Schmid Daffenson has travelled fairly a lot around the word in the past twenty years. His preferred location though is Las Vegas and in particular the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas! Given his vacation experience I would certainly keep his suggestions in mind. He actually started a little blog about it: http://bellagiohotellasvegas24.com/
