Don't Go Diving Without The Right Scuba Diving Watch

Nov 27, 2007
Underneath the sea and the water is a whole different world. Brightly colored fish and reef can bring a diver to a whole other world as well. After being down and diving you will still need to check your gauges and air regularly so you don't run out of oxygen. This is where scuba diving watches can come in handy.

When you are diving it is very easy to forget the time and how long you have been down. This can get dangerous because your air supply is limited to an hour or two tops. A great tool that has been made is the scuba diving watch. This type of watch is just made for scuba diving gives you a reading on depth, and has an alarm that sounds when you need to come up that you cannot miss when it goes off. Scuba diving watches usually come with a temperature gauge, depth gauge, compass, and more. All of those readings can help you when you are down diving especially when you don't have those gauges with you.

Citizen, Invicta, Seiko happen to hold the top three positions for the top selling diving watches. They have a flashy appearance and that alone gives them a nice look without speaking about all the little gadgets that each watch comes with. These types of watches are the top watches on the market.

Citizen has two contenders in the top three. The Promaster Aqualand's stainless steel make up makes this one a good choice. The Eco-Drive is the company's titanium offering. Either watch has storage for diving depths, current water temperature, present depth, ascent rate alarms, and is water resistant to 660 feet.

Invicta's Pro Diver Automatic is yet another stainless choice that you can get. Waterproof to 660 feet, it is a better choice for those divers that like to go free diving and fishing. Invicta's Pro Diver uses no batteries, has an anti-scratch watch face, and has luminescent watch hands. The screened markers assure you, that you will not get lost.

Luminox's Navy Seal Dive Watch is the most widely used diving watch by the U.S. navy today. This watch gives many top gadgets including compass, diving depths, date, and time.

Seiko offers the Dive Collection watch. Gives up to 650 feet of water resistance, glowing hands, and stainless steel make up, a depth gauge, and luminescent date display, the Dive Collection watch is a stunning and functional selection.

Suunto also shows two watches. The Mosquito Pro Dive has a resin band, calendar, alarms, and digital displays. This watch is only water resistant to a mere 325 feet, so it will not be good for deeper dives. All these watches are good scuba diving watches and you can find them at all of these watches stores. Even though they are pretty expensive they are among the best and top watches on the market today. So go out and get your diving watch today so you can start your diving easier.
