A New Way Of Meeting Women Online

Nov 29, 2007
There has been a belief that going on blind dates seems pathetic. Well, perhaps true or not, it depends on the purpose for going on that blind date. There are people who do it for fun, while others to really find that special someone. Harmless fun that is, since if the match is not meant to be, it is geared more towards building acquaintances and friends.

But some people cannot take it out of their mind that blind dates may perhaps be a stepping stone towards something more appealing such as perhaps steady dating or even courtship if they are really interested in each other. There are a lot of probabilities but the level of expectation that most people have should not be far fetched. There are also misconceptions such as misinterpreting the kindness and attention that a person would give. To these people, being like this may be natural for them while for others, it may mean something special. That is why blind dates leading to something serious may sometimes bring wrong signals, especially if people do not analyze and exercise patience accordingly.

Seriously, blind dates can be provided good and bad qualities, depending on the way things go. People may get along but only to a certain level. Some may hit it off and get serious with one another and then the magic of romance will start. And of course there are people who would rather not force the issue and just remain as friends where they can be better off.

Of course, blind dates will bring hesitative remarks coming from people who have been used to meeting people naturally in social events and gatherings. But the excitement generated by these blind dates is something to be pondered upon. It is true that blind dates may not necessarily produce the best potential partnership and companionship that people gear themselves to but there is no harm in trying without expectations. And another thing, the first meeting does not necessarily serve as the gauge into checking out if two people are indeed compatible. It may take one or two more meetings before finally concluding. Unless of course physically, a person is not really interested in you.

From experience, blind dates can do no harm to anyone. They are merely an alternative way of meeting up with people. What happens after that remains to be seen and would depend on the people being matched.

The way we dress on a date will be a good first impression. However, some people tend to overdo it at times, worrying more about making an impression rather than about what the woman would want or think during the time they get together. For sure, the preparation stage will be a tense moment for two people who are excited and clueless at how everything would turn out. But even though these things will not turn out during their meeting, it will surely be funny to note that spines will tingle and people finding them in another world if all things go well.

Some may call it infatuation, puppy love or love at first sight. But all of these would be overwritten once two people start to see the ins and outs of each other. The thing is first impressions do last but the inner personalities will change over time. They are variable in nature since things such as wearing formal or informal attire; a perception of true inner personalities is something that needs to be considered as well.

Men often find themselves worrying about what to wear and what wardrobe combination would be good for a first date. But a guy also has to put into consideration that he must carry on that type of attire for succeeding meetings if he wants to implant in the mind of the woman that he is all that. But this should not be taken in the way that a man should dress down to the simplest clothes he has on his drawer. It is just that to make an impression, a person must be sure that he can sustain it and be true to himself. The best way is to act normally and just be you. Women rarely go for stunning looks and may even get to a point of being flabbergasted and start to feel uneasy. A woman would only want to see a person in the way he truly is and not the way that the guy would want to express himself. That is why it is best to keep a low profile to keep things normal as much as possible.

It never hurts to want to impress people especially in the first meeting. But trying to be someone through overdressing yourself and trying to be a level where you are not at ease with yourself may entirely ruin the momentous event. Low profile may be the best approach. At least expectations will not be beyond manageable levels.
