How To Beat The Home Business Rut... And Succeed

Jan 5, 2008
Have you ever had one of those days or weeks that seem to get worse as the time goes by with your Home Business?

No matter how hard you try, you just cannot seem to be able to get anything to go right for your Home Business.

Or maybe you have been putting in some long hours on your Home Business and all of your hard work is just not looking to be paying off. No income!

As a matter of fact, even the most successful individuals who run a home business have bad days also.

So how do you get over this little bump in the road?

Read on and find out.

HOME BUSINESS TIP #1 - Take a break! This is so easy you probably over look it every day.

When you get tired, or you get that slight edge from going at full speed everyday for 14-16 hours a day, do yourself a HUGE favor and just take a simple 15 minute break.

Get up. Get out. Stretch. Scream. Walk. Talk. Sing.

Just do whatever it takes to actually take a full break from your duties...like a simple coffee or tea break.

HOME BUSINESS TIP #2 - Listen to your favorite music.

This is often overlooked because of being so busy, but if you put on your favorite music, it will actually relax you and comfort you more than you think.

Music is a great stress reliever. Put the music on and crank it up! Dance a bit, if you feel like it.

HOME BUSINESS TIP #3 - Take a day off from your Home Business to reflect on your accomplishments.

Go feed some ducks...take in a movie...go shopping....visit a restaurant and have a meal....do something nice for yourself....or just relax for a while.

This is really the key:

To be able to actually take a full day off from your Home Business and take stock of all that you have accomplished.

You will not believe the amount of inspiration and renewed dedication this will bring to you.

See, when you take the time to have some hindsight you will actually be able to refresh and recharge yourself and discover how much growth your Home Business has made from the time you actually started.

It is always a good thing to have a "review day" for yourself.

This way you can really track all of your efforts and channel your energies in the directions that have given you the best results for your Home Business.

What good are you going to be to your business if you are stressed out, on the edge of being 'burnt-out' and miserable?

Just imagine how refreshed you will feel when you return after a day off - you may be now able to 'move' those unmovable mountains that were there before you took your break - you may even see things differently and make positive decisions easily!

Always remember that when the going gets rough, be nice to yourself - you may deserve it - you may have earned it!
