Free Articles on a Blog - Good or bad?

Jan 18, 2008
Having a blog can be a lot of stress with all the different things you have to do. You have to stay on top of the advertising, fix problems, and complete all the tasks. It may sometimes seem to be a little overwhelming than you may have originally planned out.

There are a few things that you can do help get rid of that stress and have a bit more time to work on the hundreds of other things that you need to. One option is to use free articles from the internet on your blog. Though you may seem somewhat hesitant, it just may be a something to consider.

If you are feeling pressured by all the writing you have to do for your blog, free articles may be a great idea. But before you go and get the first article you come by, there is something else you could try. If you feel confident with some of your readers, you could ask a few of them to guest blog on your page. You may want to request a small sample of their writing before you post their writing on your blog. But this may also be a good way to get your readers involved and help them connect with your site. And it gives you a break from all the writing that you have been doing.

If you don't feel good about having guest bloggers and you want to find some free articles, there are a few ways of going about it. The simplest way is to go to Google or another search engine and type in 'free blog articles'. This is pretty basic but it is a fast way to help you get quick results. You could also try typing in certain topics that have to do with your blog to find a few more specific articles.

Before you post the article you select on your blog, you should probably read through the whole thing and proof it. Many times these articles are written quickly and there is a lack of spell check being used on them. You could edit them and make them fit your blog size. While you are busy doing that spell check, you might want to check the grammar also and make sure it all makes sense. Most of the articles you get will be fine but it is always a good idea to double check them before posting them on your blog.

If you do decide to use free articles on your blog, you may not want to put more than two or three every week. If you are having a hard time staying on top of your posts, you want to consider hiring a few people to write blogs for you. This is something that others can do in their spare time and it will take a bit of stress of you at the same time.

Whatever you decide to do, whether it is hire someone, ask for guest bloggers or look for free articles, you just need to decide what works best for your blog. Pay close attention to the details and find the method that you like. It may be a combination, but there are many ways to help relieve some of your blogging stress.
