Aug 17, 2007
Texas Hold-em can be a lot of fun. Please always play with the intention of having fun and leave the heavy gambling to the pros. Many lives have been destroyed because of addiction to gambling.

In poker, the winner is determined by who holds the best hand. A Texas Hold'em winning hand can be any combination of the seven cards that are dealt. These seven cards that make up the Texas Hold'em winning hand are comprised of the two pocket cards given to each player at the beginning and the five community cards which were revealed during the game.

In a Texas Hold'em winning hand, the five cards that are laid out in the table are community cards which you share with other players. This means that your pocket cards are the only real edge you have in making a Texas Hold'em winning hand against your opponents.
