Members may be classified into two: the service providers and the service buyers. Service buyers would post the details of the project that they are looking help for. The service providers would then have to submit their bids on these projects. Depending on the qualification of the service provider and the terms of the bid, the service buyer would choose the best deal (read: low cost but quality output). Usually, those who already have considerable experience in the field are usually preferred even if their fee is a bit higher. When you are just starting, dont get daunted at the level of the fee demanded by the service buyers, once you have developed your own portfolio and have proven yourself as a competent and excellent service provider, then you will be able to command a higher fee.

For service buyers, sometimes, they are not only after the cheapest alternative. Rather, they want excellence within the means available to them. So, you also need to zealously guard the way that you deliver projects. Be on time. Be excellent and you can be sure to win a number of bids.
