What Life's Treasure Really Is

Feb 2, 2008
Life is not as easy as it was before. Decades ago, people are more relaxed and call to less demanding concerns. They followed a simple routine, made enough living for the family, and always spent more time with the wife or the husband and the children. However, in the present times, one thing is always sought after - money. It seems like every problem is linked to monetary issues. Some people even conclude that the degree of the fulfillment of their lives depends on the income they make and the money they are able to save in banks and investments. But this isn't right. There is more to life than time deposits, bills and coins, and businesses.

People who thirst and hunger for wealth should be awaken to the true meaning of life. They should be more attached to the significance of abstract human feelings and interactions of the soul. True riches lie within human beings and not in the face value of money. To make life enriching, you have to know what should be done and what should not be done, who to consider in and who to reject and most especially make sound decisions that would benefit many people as much as possible.

Life coaching by professionals, specifically psychologists, is very demanding today. Troubled individuals seek the help of human behavior experts for advice and tips. However, you can always have an alternative to this that would be more relaxing, comfortable, and less expensive. Nobody knows you more than you know yourself. Moreover, nobody can enhance your life except you because you control its flow. You know its highs and lows, weaknesses and strengths as well as limitations. Every single detail of yourself attributes to the uniqueness of your life. They may be insignificant when said but rises with great waves when done. Often times, people tend to feel uncomfortable sharing personal experiences to other people, making those visits to the doctors worthless. Certainly, you can teach yourself all about life.

Life coaching is a step-by-step process. So, you must be patient and determined. Here are some points that can guide you in the process:

You should learn how to deal with other people effectively and efficiently. You must be open-minded and flexible for some character adjustments.

Make sound decisions by thinking of the pros and cons. You should not be after very petty things. You should not choose what is only best for you, but also for the people around you.

You must have self-awareness. You must be responsible for your actions and decisions. You must be able to accept what people think about you and you should be careful of the thoughts you have for others too.

Have valuable friends. Treasure them in your heart together with your ever best friends - your family.

Be God-fearing. Always devote your works to Him, and always have time for Him.

There are some more important points to ponder in enriching your life. Stated above are your first steps. With these traits and mentality, you can control and discipline yourself and enhance the status of your life to what God wants it to be.
