Why Does My Xbox 360 Have Three Red Lights Flashing?

Since the launch of the Xbox 360 at the end of 2005, a few problems have been reported. One of the most famous or infamous problems is the three red lights that appear flashing around the power button. This problem is also known to many as the Red Ring of Death (RROD). This is a caused by the overheating of hardware components inside the Xbox console casing.
