As according to the claims made by the Freemasons they are not a religious fraternity and do not believe from their stance that there is any conflict with most religions. Their stand is they demand religious tolerance. When asked to explain their argument is they believe in freedom of choice in religion and do not suppress the belief of others. They appear to be of the mind that there are many Religions that do this by persecuting those in opposition to those particular religions beliefs.
